Over the past 30 years Sugar Ridge Bluegrass Band has performed at Bluegrass shows and Festivals throughout the Midwest. We have played with Bluegrass greats Dan Crary, Jimmy Martin, The Osborne Brothers, Tennessee Gentlemen, The Dillards, Country Gentlemen, Grandpa Jones, Bluegrass Brigade, The Lewis Family, and the Desert Rose Band, just to name a few!

We have played on Festival stages, in Super Market parking lots, on court house steps, at private parties and weddings. We have played at churches, theme parks, hotels, mall openings, school gyms, back yard barbeques and at live square dances. We are proud to say we have NEVER missed a performance.

We are an all acoustic band. This means there are no electric instruments in our group. We play a bluegrass and gospel mix appropriate for the performance venue. We have our own PA system and are happy to provide sound.

Sugar Ridge Grass has sponsered a Thursday night jam session for over eight years. Anyone wishing to kick back and make some bluegrass music in the Kansas City Metro Area is welcome to join us. The session is held at 9801 Blue Ridge Blvd and starts about 6:30 PM. Call or email us for directions or info.
