Gary Russell - Original Member of Sugar Ridge. Gary, a retired police officer, has been performing bluegrass and acoustic music for more than 50 years. He played for many years at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Mo.

Keith Russell *- A Member of the early band with approximately 35 years of performance experience.  Keith is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree for his ministry.  Unfortunately his schedule doesn’t always allow him to attend.  He likes to keep things moving.

David Russell - Began playing the mandolin at the age of 9.  A US Postal Service worker, David brings approximately 33 years of stage experience to the band.  He plays a “vigorous” lead and background.

Tess Stephens - Award Winning Fiddler. Tess, our youngest member, is a student. This young fiddle prodigy adds the spark and enthusiasm that only hot fiddle tunes can bring. We’re glad to have you Tess!

Ernie Jones - Singer, songwriter and co-leader of the “new” Sugar Ridge for over 2 years.  An auto mechanic, Ernie brings a strong spiritual presence to the group and we’re glad to have him.

Gary Myers - A member of the earlier Sugar Ridge band and veteran of several years of festival and Silver Dollar City performances, Gary sings lead, harmony and does resitations and tells a few funny stories.

Bud Cary - The newest member of Sugar Ridge band, Bud  brings over 20 years of performance experience to the group. He also brings great bass playing and those great, high vocal harmonies. He also plays guitar, mandolin and dobro. Welcome aboard Bud!
